My approach to Astrology
We attract into our lives circumstances, events, people etc that we need at that time in our life to teach us lessons and move us forward. A look at planetary transits allows an astrologer to see how those may be perceived. For example during a Jupiter transit these will be experienced as positive and developmental during a Saturn transit as obstacles or limitation.
These lessons pull us into the process of evolutionary progression that mirrors that of the Universe. We are all in this together and that’s where human choice comes into play. We can choose to participate in evolution and we can do this through consciousness. This gives us the awareness to make the necessary changes and to take the required action at the right time.

It is through consciousness that we can contribute to evolution. It is the awareness of the impact of our thoughts, emotions and actions. It is consciousness that allows us to accept every part of ourselves, that gives us the ability to see how we are creating our realities. This understanding places responsibility in our hands but it is that very responsibility that gives us our freedom - freedom to create our lives within the boundaries ascribed to them by the purpose we are here to fulfill. To set our sights to something worthwhile. What is your guiding aim behind everything that you do, behind everything that you are?
If we are all here for a reason then our will has to someway correspond to that. When that happens the sky is the limit as desire is united with purpose and the flow of energy is effortless, harmonious. Our output has its own life then. It works in the same way as harmony does - a resonance independent of the 2 (or more) notes making it, the music of the spheres!
The expression of our full potential as humans on a worthwhile quest is the birthright of everyone.
Astrology helps to guide a person to this alignment leading us to the effective expression of our unique energy. Simply working with the element of the sun sign is an excellent starting point. A fire sign is dynamic inspirational, an earth sign practical consolidating constructive, a water sign empathetic responsive healing and air is communicative, conceptual.
Astrology is a tool for self knowledge - if we know where our weaknesses are, their working becomes transparent. If we know our strengths we can learn to function so our passion overcomes our faults and our faults fortify our talent. We need both our limitations and blessings to be brilliant!
